Larry Isdahl Scholarship Fund

This scholarship fund was founded in 2023 in loving memory of one of the founding members of the Hudson Soccer Association, Larry Isdahl. Larry was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend and his life revolved around his family and his love of coaching soccer and basketball. Larry wanted EVERYONE to be able to play, and would often personally fund other player's registration to ensure they were able to participate. This fund ensures HSA can continue Larry's legacy of offering soccer for all incomes.

PLEASE READ PRIOR TO SUBMITTING FORM:

Hudson Soccer wants to provide the opportunity for anyone that wants to participate in soccer, including those that may need financial assistance to do so. Please fill out the confidential form for financial help. All information from this form will only be seen by selected board members (Financial Assistance Committee) for the purpose of making a decision on financial award. HSA will get back to you within two weeks regarding what you/your child will receive in assistance.

Submittal Process and Information:

Financial Assistance Application Form is to be submitted electronically. The application form is located at the bottom of this page.

TRAVEL Financial Assistance applications must be submitted prior to August 1st.

REC Financial Assistance applications must be submitted prior to registering for a session.

Costs Covered by the Program: Only player registration fees are covered by the program. Partial registration assistance will also be offered.

The following costs will not be covered by the program:

Tryout fees (Travel only)
Camp fees
Tournament fees (Travel only)
Volunteer hours (Travel only)

Reminder that this is a confidential form. Only the Administrator and applicant will be notified of the Financial Assistance Committee's determination.

The following criteria will not be considered in the evaluation process:

Age level of the player
Talent level of the player

The following criteria will be considered in the evaluation process:

Level of need
Past payment history
Past volunteer involvement
