ADDITIONAL REC INFORMATION:

Teams will be rostered for all ages levels up to 13+ and rely on parent volunteers to coach. For those of you on the fence, we will provide simple weekly coaching instructions from our Rec Soccer Coordinator, Ashley Kirkman.  We encourage you to think about the positive impact you can have on our Hudson Soccer youth.  All Head Coaches will receive one free season of Rec as compensation for coaching (must coach 7 of the 8 sessions).

We know COVID has impacted all of us and want to remind you that Hudson Soccer Association has an application for financial support that you can fill out online; we will ensure and respect your privacy. Please allow HSA two weeks to respond to the applications.

Although we are planning for a full session, if we do need to cancel for pandemic reasons, we will refund the registration fee based on the percentage of the session played (except for a $10 non-refundable administration cost). For example, if we play only three weeks HSA would refund 5/8ths (or 62.5%) of the registration less the $10 administration cost.

Each player will need to bring their own soccer ball, plenty of water, and hand sanitizer. Players will be in small groups with a coach.  Parents will be asked to maintain social distancing

Any questions please email us at hudsonrecsoccer@gmail.com.

Rec Program Overview

Recreational soccer is a great environment for fun and learning basic soccer skills. Any players new to the sport that are considering joining a recreational team should be made aware of the following:

  • Playing time is guaranteed. Every player who registers will play equally regardless of ability.
  • No tryouts are necessary to join a team. Players are randomly placed on teams.
  • There are minimal practice days and recurring weekly games, making it easier on the family schedule.
  • Spring and Fall Session are offered.
