Hudson Soccer wants to give back to the community that we belong to and supports us. HSA is hoping to get players, families, and even teams to participate in some events that will aid the St. Croix Valley and families of Hudson!
Over the next month, HSA has signed up for some opportunities for us to do that. This is a great way to get your player and family involved!
Currently, HSA is signed up to do the following:
- HSA has adopted a family through Operation Help. This family has four children and is not just struggling financially, but health wise as well. HSA has set up a poster with ornaments/bin in at Catalyst where people can pick an ornament that designates the item they will purchase for that family. HSA hopes to make this Christmas a bit brighter after a tough year by providing the items that this family wants and needs. If your family or team wants to sponsor a bigger item, please contact me. The bigger items include Nikes, a high chair, a walker for a baby, etc. All items must be turned in by Monday, December 3rd to the bin at Catalyst. If you have a bigger (pricier) item, I am happy to pick up.
- HSA has set up two times to ring bells for the Salvation Army at County Market. Funds raised from the red kettles in Hudson go directly to the Salvation Army of the St. Croix Valley (most proceeds go to Grace Place, where we have had HSA parents reside before). The shifts are as follows:
Saturday, December 8th from 5-7pm
Wednesday, December 12th from 5-7pm
We will add a shift or two more if need be. When speaking with Grace Place, they noted that kids ringing bells get more attention/donations. We will look for 4-6+ ringers per hour (can condense to half hour if we have enough interest). If your family or team is interested in ringing, please email me.
Thank you for supporting the Hudson Community on behalf of HSA!
