The Hudson Soccer Travel program provides players the opportunity to play competitive soccer. Traveling soccer requires a greater commitment than recreational soccer. The travel program provides quality licensed parent or paid coaches (depending on level), academy and team training, year round training, and opportunities for out of season play. Hudson Soccer has competitive teams in both Spring/Summer & Fall.
We offer boys and girls travel teams from the U9 level and up. In our younger groups U9-U10, the focus is on developing the players and fair playing time to the best of our ability. For U9 and above, tryouts will be held each year in late July to form teams for the fall season and the following summer season. Placement on a fall team does not guarantee placement on the same team for the following summer. Once players reach the U12 age group, playing time is not always equal and can be based on skill, attendance, attitude, and effort.
At Hudson Soccer, our goal is to develop a life long love of soccer. We will give our players the opportunity to learn and improve as soccer players in a constructive, competitive and fun environment.
Spring/Summer Season (plus Winter Indoor Training)
This session starts with practicing at our indoor facility in November and goes through April (1-2 times per week). Then outdoor practices start early April (about 2 times per week). Games run from early May to the end of July. The Spring/Summer season is played through the Twin Cities Soccer League, and consists of 10-12 games. Half of the games are played on our home fields in Hudson and half in the East Metro.
Fall League practices start at the end of August. Games are played through the Twin Cities Soccer League, and run from early September to the end of October. Games are either played on our home fields in Hudson or in the East Metro.
Our Spring/Summer teams will play in two tournaments paid for by the club. One being the Rivertown Classic Tournament held in Hudson, and the other of the teams choosing. HSA will reimburse U9-12 teams up to $400 and U13 and older teams up to $450. Teams that choose to play in additional tournaments will be responsible for paying on their own.

Payments for spring/summer may be made in full or in 4 installments. (Registration and 3 equal payments for your remaining balance).
Uniform purchase is required if you are new to travel.
Volunteer: The Hudson Soccer association is a volunteer based organization and all programs are supported through volunteers. Traveling program parents are required to perform 8 hours of service, per player, with a family maximum of 16 hours, per year. If you are unable to volunteer, a $160 ($320 family max) non-volunteer fee is required.
Refunds & Placement:
Any player who registers and is placed on a team and then withdraws will forfeit at least the $75 administrative fee. (Exceptions for illness and injury will always be considered.) Any player not placed on a team will receive a full refund.
